Can you tell us a little about your coffee? 

Jacob Pod coffee is made from the finest beans, sourced from the world’s premium coffee regions. Once in Australia, the beans go through a careful inspection and selection process, where unlike the screening process employed by the producers of the Bachelor TV series, only the best make the cut. These carefully curated seeds of caffeinated joy are then roasted, blended and packaged into our neat little Nespresso® compatible pods. Jacob Pod coffee only comes from the best Fair Trade, organic growers, who are committed towards practicing environmental and socially responsible standards.


About the pods

How much coffee is in each pod?
Our coffee pods contain approximately 5.6 grams of fresh coffee, more than most pods on the market. 

How long can I store my Jacob Pod coffee pods?

To ensure your coffee is fresher than a young Will Smith stepping out of a taxi in Bell Air, our coffee pods are best enjoyed within 30 days of opening the pack. However, our pods can be still be used when stored in a cool, dry place for up to 12 months. 

Can Jacob Pod coffee pods be recycled? 

We have tried our best to create a product that doesn't cause stress on our environment. Jacob Pod only uses biodegradable packaging and our coffee pods are made with food grade plastic which can be recycled in most councils across Australia once you remove the foil and coffee. Please check with your local council before depositing used pods in your standard recycling bin.

Will Jacob Pod coffee pods damage my Nespresso® machine?

Absolutely not. A photo of a kitten cuddling a baby panda is likely to do more potential harm. We have designed our pods from the finest materials that are guaranteed not to melt in your machines during operation. Our pods are specifically designed for the Nespresso® coffee pod system so it will not damage your machine.  

How do I maintain my machine?

Just like a regular check-up at the doctors, or washing yourself under the arms prior to heading out on a first date; maintaining your machine should not be overlooked. After all, it helps to get the best from your pods. You should look to descale your machine once every 6 weeks if you use it twice a day - if you use it more than twice a day we would recommend descaling your machine once a month. You can purchase desalinate from the cleaning aisle of your supermarket, but it's important that you follow all instructions on the packaging.

Which coffee machines are compatible?

Jacob Pod coffee pods are compatible with all Star-Signs and the following Nespresso® machines: Pixie, Citiz/Citiz&Milk, Pixie, Essenza/Essenza Mini, Prodigio, U Solo/U Milk, Inissia. Along with other Nespresso® compatible machines such as Toro, Bellini, Kogan and others.

Do your pods work with Expressi, Dolce Gusto or Vertuo machines? 

Unfortunately our pods are only compatible with the classic Nespresso® coffee pod systems, not Lavazza, ALDI Expressi, Dolce Gusto or the Vertuo machines. 

What happens if the pods don't work?

Like a collection of mad scientists, we have performed hundreds of hours of testing while wearing white lab coats and invested significantly in research to ensure our pods work with all Nespresso® compatible machines. What do I do if my order has gone missing or I have received incorrect products?

If you have not received your delivery within 5 days, or the pods you’ve received aren't the ones you ordered, please email us at orders@jacobpod.coffee referencing your order number in the subject line and we will get back to you quickly to resolve your issue. 

In the unlikely event that a pig takes to the sky and become airborne, or you are not 100% satisfied with your coffee, send back what you haven’t used and we will refund your money. Email orders@jacobpod.coffee for return details. 


Postage and Delivery

How long will it take to receive your delivery?
All orders placed before 10am will be fulfilled same day, any orders after 10am will be fulfilled next day. We work with only the best courier and shipping companies and once orders have been fulfilled you should receive your delivery within 2 - 5 days to most parts of Australia. You will receive an email once your order has been fulfilled and another once it's with our carrier company for tracking. If you have any questions please contact us at orders@jacobpod.coffee. 

Do I need to be home to receive a delivery?

When you place your order you will be asked to provide us authority to leave, if you do this we can deliver without you being home and leave your order in a safe place. If you do not give us permission to leave and you are not home when the delivery driver arrives, you will receive a card with contact details to arrange for your delivery to be resent.
